We are in Abergorlech a small and picturesque village, on the bank of the River Cothi situated between Llandeilo and Carmarthen.
We offer a cosy and friendly village Pub run by myself, George, and my lovely wife Louise Rashbrook (who makes all the home made Pub food).
You can enjoy the woodland walks in the Brechfa Forest which follow the Gorlech River; either the short or long signposted walks, or the highly regarded Brechfa Mountain Bike Trails; then retreat to our Pub and toast yourself by the fire in the Winter or relax in the Beer Garden by the River and enjoy the view in the Summer.
We welcome kids, dogs and the occasional horse.
You can choose from an extensive bar menu and specials board during the day, and there is also a dining menu in the evenings. We can cater for large parties and functions, but only if booked in advance.
It is our aim to offer proper home made food, generous portions, locally sourced. We offer a variety of vegetarian options and can accommodate vegans if you let us know you are coming.
There is disabled access to the Pub.
Bookings are suggested, particularly weekends and evenings as we can get fully booked.
We are proud of the review from our customers on trip advisor, our Beer Garden was ranked 7th, in the Times On-Liine top 10 Beer Gardens in the UK.
There is a large car park in front of the Pub.
